The owner UKB199, Mr. Janson Javier ,wanted the people to enjoy Korean BBQ with a twist of a Filipino style so he adds some filipino side dishes in order to promote our food not only the Korean foods.
In UKB, it’s cool to know that for only 199 pesos, you already get a delicious five kinds of pork without limit. It is the classic pork, and Indian flavor—curry zest, the barbeque pork that is peppery, spicy Korean flavor and pepper lime that is most favorite flavor of them all. It has 18 mouthwatering side dishes that makes your dining very special, including; Kimchi, fresh garlic, lettuce, kimchi rice, siopao, kimbop, chorizo, meatballs, marinated pork, fishcake, kojuchang, dilis, maki, steamed rice, kimchi soup, squidballs, chili paste, sweetcorn and cucumber salad.
UKB 199 Fairview Branch was established around February 2019. To be honest, when you go to the place of their restaurant, you will wonder where it is because it's slightly hidden and it's near to highway.
"According sa family nya, isa siyang graduate ng Nursing kaso di niya naabot yung dream nya as a Nurse kaya napunta siya sa business which is ito nga iyon. ", said Mr. Loid Mark Veniegas, OIC of UKB 199 Fairview Branch.
He also added that the owner has a lot of business like siomai cart and etc. This Koren BBQ Restaurant was the first ever restaurant that he owns. It is his second time to put up a business because the first one was the Matchbox that didn't click to people because of the place. The success of the owner was truly an inspiration to all because hard work will make us become better and it will lead us to success.
What makes their restaurant unique from others? The affordability, because we all know that Filipino, maybe students, workers, families, etc. want to go to restaurants that is cheap but has a good quality of food and services. " Unique siya dahil sa presyo kasi mayroon na siyang 18 sidedishes na nakabuffet style at mayroong 4 marinated and 1 plain pork na sa iba ay super mahal.", Loid Mark said.
