Manila is known to be the capital city of the Philippines. For years, it has been an eventful place that caters businesses that provided job for workers and also quality education for students. Compliance to everyday workload is important and productivity is a must. Both workers and students need a peaceful place far from the buzz of Manila. A place that brings calmness and comfort and also a place that will let them rest their mind and will boost its fullest capability as well, and through 933 Co. Working Manila, they have found what they are looking for.

The popular University Belt composed of several universities, provide quality education for students and also offered jobs from businesses around the said campuses. For students, it is truly a must to allot time for their studies. They need to review for examinations and prepare for any school related activities. However, they encounter several disruptions even in just staying home. They experience various temptations such as falling asleep or being distracted by several gadgets around them particularly their smart phones. Given this situation, some students tend to go out and seek for another place where they can fully focus and give time to their studies but this will certainly cost them an amount of money.

Carla Pua, an entrepreneur, was able to see this kind of situation when her brother, a student, experienced the same condition. She asked her brother his reasons for exerting further effort and also spending a certain amount of money just to look for another place to study. He answered that he considered their home as his “safe zone”. A place that will provide him great comfort to the point that he will lose focus on what he needs to do. He added that he is looking for a peaceful place where he will be motivated to work and finish all his tasks and loads from school. When she heard the situation of his brother, Pua immediately shared it to her college friends and they were able to relate the story to their own experiences and needs. After some discussion, they became aware for a need to create a comfortable yet affordable space for students, workers and freelancers. A working area that will truly result to success and productivity.

After 4 months of planning and construction at the same time, the Skrillex Group composed of Carla Pua and her college friends namely Rov Calizo, Kevin Pua, Jovi Laburada and Carlo de Guzman, officially opened 933 Co. Working Manila to the public last November 20, 2017. It is located at Tolentino St., Sampaloc, Manila, the first co working space in the U – belt and because of that they were able to cater students from different universities such as students from Far Eastern University, University of the East and mostly from University of Sto. Tomas for it is the nearest university in the area. It is also open to businessmen and freelancers who are looking for a space to conduct meetings and seminars. Surprisingly, even those who just want to relax comes and visits the place. “Usually, co working spaces only caters freelancers and business people. Here in 933 Co. Working Manila, we have a diversify market, here you can do your work or just chill” Mr. Ace Imperial, the 933 Sales and Marketing Manager said in an interview when asked about the reach of their market.
